Late last year we, as a company, recognized the need avoid the adage of the cobbler’s children. It was time to take those steps to having great communication habits. What better way to start a habit than to practice it every day for 30 days? So, we challenged ourselves to kick off 2017 with a strong presence on our website and on social media.
30 blog articles in 30 days along with the necessary promotion on social media was an enormous task. We insisted in genuinely high quality articles that our readers would find interesting and helpful in their businesses. Little did we know that we’d learn more internally than our articles could possibly have taught those who read them.
What did we learn? We learned how to work together as a team even better than we had before, and we had a great team before we started! We learned many ways we can support our clients when we advise them to focus on adding quality content to their own websites. We learned a few of the subjects that our readers find more valuable in their everyday work lives. And most importantly, we learned that the time and effort needed for such an undertaking brings rich rewards.
As the person who was responsible for all the late-night deadline reminders, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this team. Every single member of our team offered major contributions and did so with enough humor to make such an enormous undertaking a fun project as well.
We are not dropping the ball now! While there will not be a full article every day, we are committed to keeping a steady stream of ideas coming and to keep the doors of communication wide open with our readers. We welcome questions and ideas for future blog posts and hope you will share your thoughts with us. Did you like the 30 days? Do you have other articles you’d like to read? Do you have any questions you’d like answered? Talk to us. We’d love to hear from you.
